The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) is a major electrified railway connecting Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Selangor, serving a total of 20 stations and providing faster passenger and freight services between the East Coast and Klang Valley.

The main passenger route connects Kota Bharu to Integrated Transport Terminal Gombak (ITT Gombak), with the western extension continuing to Jalan Kastam in Port Klang. Passenger services are scheduled to begin in January 2027, with the Gombak–Port Klang section following in January 2028.
