Kota Bharu ECRL Station is the northern terminus of the East Coast Rail Link
(ECRL) in Kelantan and will serve as an important railway gateway to Kota
Bharu and the surrounding areas. The station is currently under construction
as part of the ECRL Phase 1 project, which connects the East Coast states
with the Klang Valley.
Once completed, the station will provide passenger and freight rail
services, improving connectivity between Kelantan and other parts of
Peninsular Malaysia. Construction is progressing towards completion, with
the Kota Bharu ECRL Station expected to open for passenger services in
January 2027.
Kota Bharu ECRL Station provides convenient car drop-off and pick-up areas
