About the Station
The Bandar Utama MRT Station, the Mass Rapid Transit station located at
Bandar Utama, a modern township nestled within Petaling Jaya and Damansara.
The Station started operation on 16 December 2016. The station is located
adjacent to Sri Pentas (the headquarters of Media Prima / TV3).
The station has been built based on
Side Platform architecture.
This MRT station have 500 car parking bays. Park & Ride facility here are
owned and operated by a third party company. More information on

This station also serves as an interchange with
Bandar Utama LRT Station on the Shah Alam
Line (LRT3), which began operations on 29 June 2026.

Entrances and Exit
The station is accessible via two covered pedestrian link bridges.
One connects Entrance A to the neighbouring 1 Powerhouse, while the other
links Entrance B to the One World Hotel. The latter link bridge was opened
on 1 February 2018. The station is also connected to
Bandar Utama LRT Station via pedestrian link
bridges through 1 Powerhouse.
All these buildings are owned by Bandar Utama City Corporation Sdn Bhd,
making this station the only one in the MRT Kajang Line where
access to the station is via properties owned by other entities. There is no
access to the station from the ground level directly beneath the station
along the Damansara-Puchong Expressway. The lay-by and stairs at this
location are for emergency purposes only.
The 1 Powerhouse Building houses the feeder bus stop at the ground level, and
the park and ride facility for the station which takes up two basement
levels. Taxi and private vehicle drop-off areas are also located at the
ground floor of the building.

Bandar Utama
1 Utama is a popular shopping mall in Bandar Utama, a
suburb in the northern part of Petaling Jaya and is located just opposite Taman
Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur. With a fabulous blend of food and retail outlets,

everyone.

1 Utama is within walking distance to luxurious 5 star One World Hotel and
high rise offices Plaza IBM, KPMG Tower and 1 First Avenue. IKEA, Ikano Power
Centre, Lotus's and The Curve are all within 5 minutes drive.
MRT Feeder Bus Services
With the opening of the MRT Kajang Line, the MRT feeder buses
(T811 and T812) has begun operating, linking the commercial district and
residential areas in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Bandar Utama and Kampung Sungai
Penchala.
The feeder buses operate from the station's feeder bus stop, indoor taxi
terminal, passenger pick-up and drop-off terminal at the ground level of the
building, the adjacent 1 Powerhouse building accessed via Entrance A of the
station.
