Woodlands North Station
About the Station
The Woodlands North RTS Station is an underground international rapid
transit station serving as the Singapore terminus for the RTS Link. It is
one of the largest underground stations in Singapore, specifically designed
to facilitate high-volume cross-border travel.
The Woodlands North Station is located within the Woodlands North Coast
precinct, situated adjacent to Republic Polytechnic and the existing
Woodlands North MRT station (TE1) on the Thomson-East Coast Line.
As of May 2026, the station is in the final stages of fit-out. The facility
is integrated into a massive 28-meter deep underground complex that houses
both the rail platforms and the Singaporean and Malaysian co-located CIQ
facilities.
As based on the official Land Transport Authority (LTA) master plan, this
station acts as a critical multi-modal interchange, linking the RTS shuttle
service directly to Singapore's comprehensive MRT network.
