Tropicana LRT Station
About the Station
The Tropicana LRT Station is a Light Rapid Transit (LRT) station serving
the suburb of Tropicana, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It is one
of the elevated station on Shah Alam Line (LRT3).
Tropicana is a high end residential area in Petaling Jaya.
The LRT3 Shah Alam Line officially opened to the public on June 29. The
launch ceremony was officiated on June 28 by Anwar Ibrahim, who announced
that all rides will be free for one month, until July 31, 2026.
Based on the official alignment map released, this station is marked as a
provisional station.
On October 13, 2023, during the Budget 2024 presentation, the authorities
announced the reintegration of five stations that were previously under
provisional status, including the Tropicana LRT station, to be built
alongside the rest of the Shah Alam Line.
The station is expected to be completed and operational by 2027.
