About the Station

The Jambatan Kota LRT Station is a Light Rapid Transit (LRT) station serving the suburb of Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the elevated station on Shah Alam Line (LRT3).

Although not an official interchange, commuters may walk from Jambatan Kota LRT Station to Klang KTM Komuter Station on the KTM Komuter Port Klang Line, taking approximately 10 to 15 minutes (around 900 metres) on foot, depending on walking pace and route.

Outside the station, visitors can follow directional signage to reach Little India, Pasar Jawa, Masjid Bandar Diraja Klang, and the historic Kota Bridge, while some may also explore the surrounding area in search of local delicacies such as 'bak kut teh', cendol, and other traditional favourites.

The LRT3 Shah Alam Line officially opened to the public on June 29. The launch ceremony was officiated on June 28 by Anwar Ibrahim, who announced that all rides will be free for one month, until July 31, 2026.
