About the Station

The Kayu Ara LRT Station is a Light Rapid Transit (LRT) station serving the suburb of Kayu Ara, Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It is one of the elevated station on Shah Alam Line (LRT3).

This Station is located within vicinity of Bandar Utama, Damansara Jaya and Damansara Utama. The area take the name of Sungai Kayu Ara, small river across the area.

As reported by New Straits Times on Aug 26, 2025, the LRT3, originally scheduled to begin operations on September 30, is now expected to open by the end of the year.
