Proposed MRT Circle Line (MRT3)

The Circle Line MRT3 is a circular rail line planned to link the current Klang Valley public transport system, enhancing mobility and travel convenience for the city's expanding population. Covering 51 kilometers around the city's outskirts, the Circle Line MRT3 is intended to connect with existing MRT, LRT, KTM, and Monorail services via 10 well-positioned interchange and connecting stations.

By offering alternative, shorter routes to major destinations through various integration points, the Circle Line MRT3 will improve accessibility, especially in areas of the city that are currently underserved.

There will be a total of 32 stations (22 elevated + 7 underground) in 51 km excluding 3 provisional stations and the 2 depots. MRT3 has 10 interchange and connecting stations with 12 existing rail lines (LRT, MRT, KL Monorail, and KTM), along with parking bays across 11 locations near the stations.

Construction is slated to begin in 2026, with the entire Circle Line (MRT3) anticipated to be fully operational by 2032.
