Sungai Buloh MRT Station
About the Station
Sungai Buloh MRT Station, the Mass Rapid Transit station in Sungai Buloh,
located at north west of Kuala Lumpur. The station is the northern terminus
of the MRT Kajang line and interchange station to Sungai Buloh KTM Komuter. The
Station started operation on 16 December 2016.
The station has been built based on
Island Platform architecture.
As part of the construction of the MRT Kajang Line, a
six-storey multi-storey park and ride facility was also constructed at this
station. The facility has 1236 car parking bays and 258 motorcycle bays. The
parking charge is RM4.30 per day and can only be paid by using same Touch 'n
Go cards.

Note: Sungai Buloh Station and Kampung Selamat Station have be part of the
MRT Putrajaya Line on 16 June 2022 when Phase
1 began operations.

Entrances and Exit
The station has three entrances. The main entrance is Entrance A
which has escalators, stairs and lifts rising from at-grade level to the
common concourse, serving both MRT and KTM users. The other entrance is
Entrance B and C is located at the south side of the common concourse and is
linked to a staircase down to both sides of Jalan Kuala Selangor.

Sungai Buloh
Sungai Buloh is a town in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is a
15-minute drive from Sungai Buloh to Kuala Lumpur, the national capital. It
is also home to many prestigious housing areas, such as Bukit Rahman Putra,
Sunway Rahman Putra, Sierramas and Valencia. Many people have the
misconception that Sungai Buloh is the home of poor people and also its
negative association with the Leprosy Settlement and National Prison.
There are currently 4 major high schools in Sungai Buloh, namely Sekolah Sri
Bestari, SMK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh, SMK Bukit Gading and SMK Bukit Rahman
Putra. Sungai Buloh also houses an international school, elc International
School in Sierramas and there is a KTM Komuter station in the middle of
Sungai Buloh that connects to the Rawang - Seremban line.
Attraction Around
Today the main attraction of Sungai Buloh is its numerous nurseries selling
plants of almost every kind known to horticulture, in addition to gardening
materials and tools. A pleasant respite from the hustle and bustle of the
city, this place used to be shun by city folks for being a refuge camp for
leprosy patients in the sixties.
The highlights of plants here include flowering annuals and perennials, many
of which come with full blooms and reasonable prices. There are however
nurseries that have overpriced plants, but for the seasoned buyer one will
know where to look.
MRT Feeder Bus Services
With the opening of the MRT Kajang Line and Putrajaya Line, MRT feeder buses as
mentioned below has begun operating, linking the station with several housing
areas and villages in and near Sungai Buloh. The feeder buses operate from
the station's feeder bus hub accessed via Pintu A (Entrance A) of the station.

Trunk Bus Services
Trunk bus services do not enter the station area but stop at bus stops along
Jalan Kuala Selangor. From these bus stops, access to the station is via the
overhead pedestrian bridge to Pintu B (Entrance B) of the station.
